STOKE & Converse CONS hosted a CONS Project Auckland.
A series of free community projects designed to inspire the next generation of creative spirits. It was the first time in New Zealand hosted a CONS Project which took place in Auckland City on October 3 and 4 2015.
The two-day ‘Digital Photography’ workshop showcased to participants what it takes to shoot, edit, produce and deliver an engaging skate photograph. Attendees gained hands on experience in composing and capturing a great skateboarding shot whilst understanding different photographic styles and environments led by New Zealand’s largest skateboard publication; Manual Magazine’s Co-Founder & Director David Read and Editor & Senior Photographer Jake Mein.
The second day of the workshop finished with a celebration event where each participants best prints will be displayed in an exhibition.
Local CONS skate team members and friends of CONS alike including Dean Palmer, Levi Hawken, Scott Lai and Tom Kelly were also on hand to share their expertise with workshop attendees and be photographed in action.
